Considering the kind of defeat that Congress had to face in 2019 elections, every member of the party is worried about rejuvenating the spirit of the party. All are wondering about the way out to make things work for the party. A lot of Congress members are of the opinion that the face of the representatives should be changed and the base of the party needs to be strengthened. However, the party is also of the opinion that Rahul Gandhi has to be cordial and receptive towards all the party members. One of the party members even remarked that one can still meet PM Modi, but nor Rahul Gandhi as he is always in the company of his preferred members. A congress member from UP even shared that in UP minimum in 40 districts there are no Congress representatives.
