The new Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Jagan Mohan came into power with a victory of 151 supporters out of 175 tickets in the Andhra Pradesh Vidhaan Sabha. After this, he has decided to appoint 5 Deputy Chief Ministers to represent different communities. In addition to this, he has made a planner, which includes, “Navratnalu” (meaning “Navratna”) – with schemes meant for the betterment of the people. For this, he would need to include at least 40-50,000 crores in his budget. His planner also includes closing/ banning of alcoholic shops. He is also aiming at reforming farmers’ lives. He has come forward to promise farmers of the state that he will be providing them with 12,500 rupees each of them every year. No one knows how this will happen as the government is already submerged in loans. Let us wait and watch.
