The friendship of PM Modi and PM of Japan Shinzo Abe is deepening, which has resulted in the decision of extending an invitation for the inauguration ceremony of the games. The games will take place in August 2020. PM Modi will be sent an invitation around that time. This ceremony will mark the strength of the Modi-Abe friendship ties.
