Modi Government 2.0 is all geared up for activating NRC. The government will start working on the accomplishment of this project. Amit Shah is all set to sideline and uproot all the illegal immigrants from the country. The government has announced the preparation of a register for the National Population count (census). And, the first step is making it mandatory for all the citizens to register for NRC. All the citizens will have to also give their personal details through bio-metrics. Based on NPR, NRC database will be created. NPR was announced on 3rd August, but the removal of Article 370 and 35A from J&K had distracted the attention. According to BJP, NPR will be in action from 1st April 2020 through 30th September, 2020, followed by work on NRC.
