After the 2015 Congress party again failed to manage even single seats in state elections. Only 4 % of voters cast their votes in favor of the party in this election which is 5% less than in 2015. The continuous decline in vote %, sources say is very alarming but the leaders of the party are not yet understood the seriousness and continuously engaged in groupism affecting party perspective. Sources say this is also eroding the popularity of the party. Central leadership tried best to curb but failed.  Ajay Makan, the senior leader was given charge of state President in the hope to solve the problems but he also measurably failed. Late Mrs. Sheila Dikshit as State President could not do much. After her departure, it took three months for the central leadership to select State President. Subhash Chopra, senior leader as State President, though tried best but could not manage even single seat. Sources say if Congress is interested to bring back its lost glory total overhaul is necessary and party leadership to forget their groupism and rebuild the party?
