Bihar elections are approaching fast, every party is trying to have the support of major casts/ communities to perform well in elections. In cast ridden society, though most parties say they are against casteism on the ground it is not possible to ignore. Mallah and Bind are in very good numbers,  Mukesh Sahni, leader of Mallah community prefers to be called as son of Mallah, tried to convince BJP leadership in last state elections to have some seat instead of support extended to the party. Sources say, he formed new party VIP to support. Despite best effort and support from all BJP managed only 54 seats out of 91 contested. BJP is already having Ajay Nishad son of Capt. Jai Narayan Nishad. Ajay is having good support on the voters of Motihari and Muzaffarpur. Mukesh Sahni and Jitan Ram Manjhi switched over to RJD and contested 3 seats each in 2019 elections and lost. Now, this coming election will be the litmus test for all community leaders, sources say?
