Congress party is struggling for long to have new regular President, sources say all arrangements are going on to have new President. Some party leaders feel that despite all onslaught on party and leaders, Rahul Gandhi never hesitated to criticize the wrong policies of BJP, always spoken against disinvestment, note bandi, wrong handling of Pandemic, etc. Party also feels that he is the one who has got all India acceptability and his party is also having a presence throughout the country. Sources say with all this background even the leaders of the party not supporting him will have to fall in line, which is clear from no other nomination for the position of President. Sources say Congress wants to bring back all secular parties together to fight policies to divide society on the cast and dharm. Sources say in present circumstances  Rahul Gandhi is the best bet but he will have to be President for twenty-four hours?
