Ms Mayawati after a humilating defeat in the last elections where her party managed to secure only one seat out of 403 assembly seats and 12.8% votes.  Source says that she has now started  focusing on the Dalits and Muslims. She is not leaving any chance to blame the Congress party for the present conditions of Dalits after taking over a Dalit as the congress president recently source says. The state president of Congress is also a Dalit and congress want to bring back the support of traditional support of Dalits to come to power again source says. Ms Mayawati is disturbed by this deadly combination of congress and trying to regain the support of Dalits and Muslims by criticising the congress party source says. She came to power with the support of Dalits and Muslims but now the ground realities are different source says. The Jatav's now shifted towards BJP and some traditional supporters in backward classes also shifted their loyalties towards BJP. Under these changed circumstances she after meticulous calculations always referred in her speeches that in congress rule Baba Sahab Ambedkar has not been given due regard and status and as other prominent backward leaders has always been ignored source says. The attempt is to detract supporters to go for the congress party because the core supporters are the same but due to changed circumstances, they shift their localities to source says.
