After the recent transfer fiasco, it has been learned from top sources that Special CP Traffic K Jagadesan has now made a hushing move or what can be said to be a 'damage control tactic' Sources say that Jagadesan has squeezed his powers by floating an order which allows Additional CP and DCP to transfer and appoint circle officers.  Earlier, the power to transfer/appoint circle officers was vested with Special CP. A top source said introducing this flexible power traffic monitoring and supervision arrangement can become more manageable.

However, top sources said such actions should be prompted on a regular basis for reforming purposes and not after a gaffe. As such, reforming actions lose their credence and appear as a cover-up measure.  Sources add that accountability must be fixed to prevent further fiascos. Further, It has been said that a possible reshuffle may take place where K. Jagadesan can be sent out of Delhi.
