Rakesh Asthana IPS officer Gujarat 1984 batch, who is presenlty posted as DG BSF, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India is likely to be given additional charge of Director CBI?. According to sources it has been said that due to present scenario the meeting of High Powered Committee has not taken place and there might be a delay in appointing a regular CBI Chief till then it is possible that Asthana could get the additional charge of CBI Chief.
