    The High Power Committee led by Prime Minister has shortlisted the following names for the post of CBI Chief:-

    1-Subodh Jaiswal IPS DG CISF (1985 batch)  
    2- R.K Chandra IPS DG SSB(1985 batch) 
    3- V.SK Kaumudi IPS Special Secretary Internal Security (1986 batch) 

    According to sources UP DGP Hitesh Chandra Awasthy(IPS officer 1985 batch) 's name was also discussed in the meeting.
