In a significant development in the power corridors, it has been learned from top sources that Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana is not getting any further extension. Sources say that the government is in no mood to give extension and wants a change. It has been further added that appointment order of the new commissioner is expected anytime soon. Asthana is scheduled to complete his extended service tenure on 31st July 2022.
