DCP East Priyanka Kashyap Led Special Convoy Patrolling On Motorbike

In a slightly different fashion, the DCP East Priyanka Kashyap carried out patrolling in a motorbike convoy covering the sensitive areas of the east district. Usually, it is seen that police officials undertake patrolling on foot(flag march) but the idea of the special convoy on a motorbike not only makes area domination exercises more effective but also gives you a wide scan of the area while making a strong deterrent impact in the district, especially in crime-prone areas. According to the press release of the DCP office, the 'special convoy exercise' was conducted keeping the view of security and safety of the general public in the forthcoming festive season. The convoy comprised 14 four-wheelers 60 two-wheelers and more than 100 police personnel. The convoy is said to have covered sensitive and crime-prone areas of four police stations. The local residents as well as passers-by widely cheered encouraged and appreciated the exercise.
