The 3rd Anti-Terror Conference ended with much discussion and deliberation on Terror networks and growing syndicates. ATS chiefs from across states attended the conference, and some of them gave presentations and out of which from Delhi Police, H.G.S Dhaliwal, who was at the forefront in tackling an active threat on the terror landscape- the Khalistani network and Organized Crime Syndicate, gave a detailed presentation on the evolving threat of Transnational Organized Crime and its linkages with terror organizations, especially with Khalistani networks. Dhaliwal also gave the details about recent transnational operations that the Special Cell carried out in recent times, from bursting ISIS modules to catching gangsters from foreign soil. He further emphasised the need for robust mechanisms and active intel police cooperation at national and interstate levels. Under Dhaliwal's leadership, Delhi Police's ATS response and approach has vigorously evolved, becoming more pragmatic from increasing intel quotient to firepower quotient, Special cell has worked at all parameters of combatting terror and organised crimes.
