Heavyweights Of Delhi Police To Remain In Office Till Next Year

After DCP level rejig in Delhi Police, interesting reshuffling at various ranks is said to be in offing at Jai Singh Marg. A field assessment of DCPs and Joint CPs is taken by the top brass of PHQ. In such a scenario, a reshuffle at the Joint CP level and more juggling of DCPs are expected in the coming few weeks. Top sources say that some Joint CPs and a few more DCPs are going to be axed. Interestingly, the much clamour about Special CPs rejig has no force. Top sources say that there is no Special CP level rejig at PHQ, at least the most sought post of Special CP Law and Order Division is not going to see any change until next year. Some say that the retirement of Special CP HR Ranveer Singh Krishnaia in December might trigger a Special CP reshuffle, but even this presumption is said to be incorrect. Top sources add that in December, one Special CP will get an additional charge of the HR Division for the time being and around late February or March next year, a reshuffle of Special CPs is expected to take place. But till then, heavyweights will remain at their offices.
