Lalbiaktluanga Khirangte, IAS officer Jharkhand 1988 batch, who is presently posted as ACS Forest and Environment, has been appointed as Chief Secretary of Jharkhand. The present Chief Secretary, Sukhdev Singh, has been appointed as DG Shri Krishna Institute of Public Administration. Singh is scheduled to retire in March, whereas Khirangte is due to retire in October.
