Ahead of UT officers retirement, a reshuffle at the Special CP/ADG level seems to be on the cards in power corridors. According to top sources, the present DGP, Goa, Jaspal Singh, is most likely to shift to Chandigarh as the DGP of the UT. The incumbent Chandigarh DGP Praveer Ranjan will most likely proceed on central deputation soon as ADG CISF. From Delhi Police, Special Commissioner(Security) Madhup Tiwari will most likely replace Jaspal Singh as DGP Goa. Interestingly, two UT officers, R.S Krishna and Taj Hassan, are retiring by the end of this month. Top sources add that Special CP Intelligence Satish Golcha or  Tajender Luthra might shift to Special CP Headquarters after Krishnia's retirement. As adjustments eligible Joint CPs for promotion to Special Commissioner are made, with one DG/ADG level post of Fire Service being vacant, top sources say one can wait and watch as tight adjustments are expected.
