Ranveer Singh Krishnia(IPS: UT: 1989) is perhaps an officer who made a deep mark in Delhi Police by holding the front for almost every Police Commissioner whenever Delhi Police faced crises. Krishnaia's upright and non-compromising nature always enabled him to face challenges. Under former Police Commissioner Bhim Sain Bassi handled the JNU Crises or the protests and unrest in Delhi under Amulya Patnaik. While looking at the crises, Krishnia perhaps had that strategic foresight that many in the ranks miss. Top sources say that Krishnia's ability to foresight had helped former Police Commissioners to assess the adversary. One former Police Commissioner said, "Krishna is a no-nonsense officer and believes in deterrence policing, and there were few occasions where deterrence effectively worked". Top sources in power corridors say, "Ranveer knows how to manage field and headquarters. He has a good hand in Police Administration, too. He handled headquarters affairs and the economy of the force during G20.  At one point, everyone saw Krishna as a reckoning force for the Police Commissioner when the office of the Police Commissioner was running under adhocism, but nevertheless, he became a strong match/command for almost every Police Commissioner. As he bid adieu to Indian Police Services on 30th December, there was little doubt that Krishnia made us remember the touch of Deepak Mishra and Dharmendra Kumar.
