Ravi Kota, IAS officer Assam-Meghalaya 1993 batch, who is presently ACS, Government of Assam, has been appointed as Chief Secretary of Assam. Kota will take over after the superannuation of incumbent Chief Secretary Paban Borthakur in March. Till then, Kota will function as OSD to Chief Secretary.
