The Consumer Affairs Secretary Rohit Kumar Singh retired on 31st March. Like every bureaucracy, a farewell event was scheduled; however, it wasn't an ordinary farewell where batchmates and colleagues meet. According to top sources the Union Minister of Commerce, Piyush Goel, took some time from his hectic schedule and attended Rohit Kumar Singh's farewell. The DG CISF Nina Singh, who happens to be the wife of Singh, was also present at the farewell. Such warm gestures from top brass show respect and acknowledgement of the bureaucrat's illustrious career and hard work.
