After the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) struck down all lobbying attempts by IPS and DANIPS officers to get their transfer order cancelled or paused, a DANIPS officer, who was confident of getting his transfer order cancelled for obvious reasons, met with the Union Home Secretary. However, the transfer order was not cancelled, and he is now on the verge of getting relieved from Chandigarh.
