In a major development it has been learned that Election Commission has ordered removal of interim Jharkhand DGP Anurag Gupta IPS. EC has further asked the state government to appoint senior most DGP in the cadre. Sources say that EC has taken this decision based on various complaints against officer. EC has directed to comply with the directions and submit a report by 7PM today.
