In a major development the Election Commission has ordered the removal of Maharashtra DGP Rashmi Shukla with immediate effect. The Election Commission further asked Chief Secretary to hand over her charge to next senior most IPS officer in the cadre with further directions to send a panel of three IPS officers by tomorrow.
