According to top sources, it has been learned that the empanelment meeting for considering the 1997 batch IPS officers belonging to various cadres for the post of ADG in the centre has been deferred until further notice. Sources add that the meeting was scheduled to take place on 8th January 2025, but due to some reason, the meeting was deferred. Top sources add that processes are being made to reschedule the empanelment meeting in the coming weeks.
