Delhi Police emerged yet again as the Best Marching Contingent in the Republic Day Parade 2024. It seems that Delhi Police is working hard to revive its winning streak from the Early to mid-2000s. Delhi Police won three consecutive Marching Contingent awards from 2001-2003 and then in 2005-2006. After this period, the Delhi Police saw a drought of almost 15 years and won the award in 2021.

Top sources say that Delhi Police made significant improvements in bridging small gaps during preparation and execution. It has been further said that Delhi Police has used Artificial Intelligence and an analytical approach to make significant improvements in its contingent marching show over the last two years. Sources add that if consistency is maintained, then Delhi Police can revive its early 2000s moment of striking a hattrick.
