In a major development it has been learned from top sources that CBI Director Praveen Sood may get one year extension. Sources add that no consensus could be reached in the PM led high power committee to select Sood's successor. It has been said that three-four names were on the table but in a hour long meeting none of the names got the green light from the committee. In such situation, sources said that committee agreed to extend Sood's tenure for a year.
