Discarded IAS By BJP Now Champion of Mumbai Model of COVID-19?

Even the court acclaimed the handling of Corona by Chahal, discarded IAS by BJP government after taking over in 2015, has proved his worth and controlled spread of Corona as BMC chief and later CEO of Corona controlling authority. The recipient of Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year 2021 awarded by Mrs. Nirmala Sitaraman, was given free hand by CM of Maharashtra with assurances that he will be praised for all achievements, and if failures, CM himself will take all responsibility. Sources say, when entire machinery was busy in celebration of control of the first wave, Chahal was seen moving one hospital to another taking stock of available resources, and making a plan to tackle the second phase. Sources say that his untiring efforts blocked the spread of COVID-19 and ensured the availability of Oxygen and other medicine to all hospitals.
