Sidelining the most powerful Lingayat leader and ex-CM of Karnataka, B S Yediyurappa, who was forced in 2021 to resign has probably given a jolt to the BJP source says. In the belt of Lingayats BJP could manage 20 seats in total contrast clean sweep in favour during the last elections source says. The leaders of Rajasthan are of a similar opinion and probably warned the central leadership of the same fate of the party if Vasundhara Raje is not projected as the CM candidate source says. Vasundhara is not having the backing of any caste but the present party leaders of the state solidly support her and their allegiance is with her not with the party source says. The strength of the loyalists was seen during celebrations of her birthday in a temple in the recent past source says. It’s now an open secret that the present duo on top are not happy with the Raje and seriously want to replace her from the top position of state but newly promoted leaders in the state by the central leader are no match for her dynamism and political acumen ship source says.
