    K.Kavitha, the daughter of the CM of Telangana, has written letters to 47 leaders of political parties requesting to support the Women Reservation Bill if it comes for discussions during a special parliament session proposed to be held from 18th of September 2023 source says. She also showed her surprise that Sonia Gandhi had not included this point in her letter to the PM with the request to discuss some burning issues before the country. The women's reservation bill was first brought for consideration in 1996 as the 82nd amendment but till then it’s in cold storage source says. NCP chief Sharad Yadav has recently said that his party will support the bill if placed before parliament for consideration source says.
