Overconfidence Cost Ghosi Seat?

The recent defeat of the BJP from the Ghosi seat has forced the party to do some brainstorming in organizational affairs, especially focusing on the ground realities that were ignored earlier, top sources say. It has been further said that the trigger to brainstorming for some organisational changes was caused by some senior functionaries ignoring the ground feedback given by the party workers in Ghoshi, had the feedback been taken seriously, then BJP could have played smarter in Ghosi, however party workers' assessment and feedback were ignored by immediate seniors of the party, top sources say. After this development, some immediate measures by the BJP were taken where reshuffling District Presidents was one of them, second which is said to be offing where top sources say that more crucial changes in the Organisational structure of UP BJP unit will be made in the coming days. It has been further said that there is little pushback in the strategy for feedback assessments in UP BJP's unit, top sources say that for the time being, BJP is considering putting "Party worker first" strategy in place where feedback and assesment are directly communicated to top leadership for the right information on the ground.
