The slogan of "400 Paar" has become a point of contention among voters, sources say. Two phases of voting have already taken place, and voters have sealed the fate of 190 candidates, but the low voter turnout is troubling political parties, especially the ruling party. The BJP is also concerned about the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections. As per internal assessments of the party, it won't be a cakewalk as it was in 2014 and 2019. The party knows the importance of winning seats in UP and has divided the entire state into three zones. The first zone is the Yellow zone, where the party is comfortable. The second is the Green zone, where they are facing tough competition from the opposition. The third is the Red zone, where the party is trailing. The BJP is now focusing all its efforts on the Red Zone areas, which include Jaunpur, Mainpuri, Muradabad, Kannauj, Badaun, Muzaffarnagar, Sambhal, Pilibhit, Shrawasti, Basti, Ambedkar Nagar, Azamgarh, Lalganj, Gazipur, Ghosi, Machchalishahar, Kaushambi, and Barabanki. The low voter turnout in the last two phases has added to the BJP's worries, according to sources.
