He also emphasized that the central leadership took the lead and the election was fought primarily in the name of the Prime Minister. Therefore, he shouldn't be solely held accountable. The central leadership is also wary of upsetting the upper caste. Additionally, the removal of Vasundhara Raje and not granting a ticket to V. K. Singh has already reduced Rajput support.
