The general opinion suggests that the government has allocated a significant amount to Bihar and Andhra Pradesh in the latest budget, while neglecting other states, including those governed by the NDA, BJP, and I.N.D.I.A. alliance. However, representatives from Bihar and Andhra Pradesh have expressed dissatisfaction, stating that the allocation is merely a reallocation of funds for ongoing projects, without any additional support. The absence of special status designation and the allocations not meeting demands have also left Naidu and his government disappointed. There is concern that these budgetary decisions could impact the upcoming assembly elections in Haryana, Maharashtra, and Jharkhand. Nitish Kumar and Naidu are closely watching the situation, as they anticipate that the government's stability could be compromised if the election results do not favour them.
