The central government brought an amendment bill in the parliament but due to silent opposition from the NDA constituents, the bill has been forwarded for further consultations to all party committees a source says. The opposition parties also strongly opposed the bill. The minority front of BJP in a meeting with the minority minister also raised strong objections to placing the bill without consulting them source says. The apprehension of the front is in an ongoing process of making members, the minority especially Muslims likely to be very suspicious of joining the party source says. The round objection within the party and outside it is most likely that the government will go slow on the bill source says.
