In the wake of his recent election loss, it appears that AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal is looking to enjoy some leisure time abroad. According to sources, Li Quan University in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur University in Malaysia have extended invitations for him to deliver lectures. Although he began packing for the trip, his long-time confidant Gopal Rai cautioned him against leaving the country, suggesting that such an absence could unwittingly empower the BJP during a critical period source says. Rai further advised the former Chief Minister that in the next 2 to 3 years, the true nature of the BJP’s governance is likely to unfold, encouraging Kejriwal to adopt a more reserved approach in Delhi for the time being. Meanwhile, AAP leadership is monitoring the growing influence of Aatishi, who has been effectively challenging the ruling party with her incisive remarks and pointed questions. With her active role, Kejriwal is shifting his focus towards Chhattisgarh, Goa, and Gujarat, ordering his party members to ensure that their vote percentage in Gujarat at least matches that of Congress to maintain competitiveness source says.

In Punjab, the Chief Minister has expressed concerns to Kejriwal regarding his heightened activity within the state. He warned that this could potentially lead the 35 party MLAs to defect to the Congress party, a top source said. This caution has likely compelled Kejriwal to scale back his activities and reconsider his aspirations for a Rajya Sabha seat originating from Punjab. Additionally, CM Mann appears hesitant to endorse Kejriwal's initiatives, prioritizing the stability of his own government to avert any political upheaval source says.
