Congress And Samajwadi Party Exploring Possibilities To Contest Assembly In Coalition?

Recently Priyanka Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav of SP had a long discussion to iron out the teething problems and find out easy ways to contest the 2027 state assembly elections of UP source says. Priyanka Gandhi intimated to the chief of the Samajwadi party that her party is taking the elections very seriously and appointing district presidents in the state based on feedback from the party workers' source says. During discussions, she hinted that Congress would like to contest nearly 100 seats. The source says the Chief of the Samajwadi Party told her to be more practical and select the constituencies based on winnability instead of going on numbers because if Congress loses the seats it will be a great loss to the SP source says. He further advised her to prepare a list on this basis and share it with him.
