Bihar Elections Next Year: Mukesh Sahani and BJP

Mukesh Sahani, leader of Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) perhaps made up his mind to go with I.N.D.I.A. source says. Last time VIP as part of BJP, JD(U) contested the assembly election on 11 seats. Four contestants won the seat though Mukesh Sahani, himself lost the seat source says. The BJP managed all three elected MLAs to join and one MLA unfortunately died source says. Mukesh Sahani managed to get a seat in the Council and became minister source says. The seat was for a limited time of one and a half years and after completion of the period he had to resign source says. 

Mukesh Sahani is considered the leader of Mallah and has a good influence in Khagaria, Muzzafarpur, Darbhanga, Motihari and Jhanjhar Pur and also has very good relations with Muslim leaders of the state source says. He is expecting to contest 12 seats with Pashupati Nath’s party, RJD and Congress under the big umbrella of I.N.D.I.A source says. The political observers feel that RJD is likely to contest 115-120 seats, a Congress 45-50 seat source says. The I.N.D.I.A. with all these parties likely to give the tough contest to the ruling BJP, JD(U) combine source says.
