Akash Anand Back In The Party As Number Two?

In a surprising turn of events, Akash Anand has ascended once again to the influential position of number two within the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). According to an insider, BSP chief Mayawati appears to be grappling with indecision, her choices swaying like a pendulum, marked by periods of sudden retraction source says. On two separate occasions, she has demoted him, and also expelled him from the ranks of the party, only to reinstate him as the Chief National Coordinator, acknowledging his pivotal role in the organization. The BSP itself is segmented into three distinct zones: north, northeast, and south. Each zone operates under the leadership of national coordinators who are now required to direct their reports to Akash instead of directly to Bahan Ji, a shift that underscores his renewed authority source says. 

Reports indicate that Akash’s earlier decline stemmed from Bahan Ji’s growing suspicions regarding the influence of his father-in-law, which she believed threatened to overshadow her own leadership. In a bid to quell these concerns, Akash has publicly vowed on X that there will be no further interference from his in-laws. He reassured Bahan Ji of his unwavering loyalty to her and the party, declaring his commitment to her vision source says. Adding a personal touch to the reconciliation, his wife has reportedly sought a private audience with Bahan Ji, promising that she would discourage any familial involvement in party affairs and would refrain from visiting her parental home without Bahan Ji's explicit approval.
