Jagdeep Dhankhad is unlikely to secure a government residence in the near future. The situation arose after the former Vice President resigned during his term, leaving the government in a challenging predicament source says. The relevant department was unprepared for this sudden change, leading to complications in the transition process. As a result, the allocation of a government house has been delayed, creating an awkward scenario for all parties involved. Though the government has proposed a bungalow presently occupied by a cabinet minister, if it's accepted by the ex-vice president, the department would go for repairs etc after relocation of the cabinet minister source says.
