I.N.D.I.A Alliance On Verge of Collapse?

The I.N.D.I.A. coalition was confident of doing better than in the 2020 Bihar assembly elections, but the landslide victory of JD(U) and BJP surprised many. The 90% result is commendable from all angles, the source says. The internal discussions in the Congress party ultimately blamed RJD and its leader Tejaswi for poor performance in the plea that out of 61 seats 47 seats were not winnable source says. The Congress leadership, though the biggest party blames but answers that accepting those seats is not available to some of the senior Congress leaders' sources say. After the defeat of the I.N.D.I.A. coalition murmurs started for a change in the leadership, the leadership source says. TMC leaders started saying openly that this is the right time for Mamta Banerjee, CM of West Bengal to take over the leadership sources say. On the other side, SP leaders want Akhilesh Yadav must take charge for the survival of the coalition sources say. The coalition partners are not happy with the blame game by Congress and say that RJD retained their vote percentage where whereas Congress and VIP of Mukesh Sahni lost the vote percentage and the winnability percentage of both parties was very less sources say.

Though some leaders say that announcing Tejaswi as the CM face has also affected the prospect because this has given unequibality to other leaders in the state from the I.N.D.I.A. coalition source says. If such brickering continued in the coalition it would be impossible for the coalition to restrict the NDA in the coming elections source says. In the 2024 elections, the NDA coalition was restricted below the magic figure source says. As the oldest party, Congress will have to broaden its strategic approach and make efforts to unify all coalition partners for a resilient fight against the ruling NDA, sources conclude.
