Jagdish Tyler Still An Eyesore for BJP?

The ex central minister and senior Congress leader Jagdish Tytler has almost taken retirement from politics but is sometimes seen in public functions or meetings. Recently he attended a function as a general invitee organised to present “Shanti Puraskaar” to the ex-president of Chile Michelle Bachelet by the Indira Gandhi Memorial Trust. Malviya, the head of the IT cell of the BJP, just after getting a glimpse of Tytler, wrote on X that the Congress party is still harbouring the culprit of the 1984 incident without going into history that till date no charge has been levied or proved against Tytler so far source says. Sajjan Kumar, another Congress leader is charged and now in jail serving a life sentence source says. This indicates that the IT cell chief just wants to get political mileage without going into the facts. The Congress party has neither supported nor publicly addressed Tytler’s presence at the event, and sources suggest that, under normal circumstances, Tytler might have been forgotten long ago, if not given importance by the IT cell of the BJP sources say.
