People of Bihar never open their cards and keep them very close to their chest, resulting in tough contests in some constituencies, a source says. In the recently concluded elections, in 5 constituencies, the fight was very close. The closest margin was only 27 votes. Radha Charan Shah of JD(U) defeated the RJD contestants by only 27 votes at Sandes constituency. The lone winner on the BSP ticket, Santosh Kumar Yadav won the Ramgadh seat by 30 votes source says. In Agigaon, Mahesh Paswan of the BJP defeated the CPI candidate by 95 votes and Faisal Rahman of Dhaka from the RJD won by 178 votes source says.
