According to recent developments it has been learned that UP Government has granted apex scale to present interim DGP Prashant Kumar that too bypassing almost tweleve IPS officers who are senior to him. According to reports the order is yet to be out but Kumar's apex scale is said to be cleared by the top brass of the state.
