After many U-turns now both the leaders, Ms Mayawati and Akhilesh Yadav, have understood the necessity of coalition. BJP got its own survey conducted through one independent agency and also realised that the fate of all future elections will be decided by coalition and might this is pressing the party to honour demand of supporting parties. BSP and SP have also decided to give shape. Sources say, both the leaders met at a farmhouse of Sanjay Seth (situated on Lucknow- Sitapur road), a close friend and Rajya Sabha member of Akhilesh Yadav. Though as scheduled for 11 pm, but due to the late arrival of Ms Mayawati, it started at 11.45 pm and lasted for more than 2 hours. Both the leaders came without any security, talked in a free atmosphere and decided that BSP will contest on 45 seats, SP on 31 seats. Two seats, Amethi and Raebareli will be left for Congress. SP to leave 2 seats from its own quota for RLD also. This final figure was decided after a hard bargaining because Ms Mayawati wanted 50 seats and Akhilesh Yadav wanted to share on 50%basis. The core committee of 3 members of each party was constituted to discuss and decide for each seat and submit a report to Chief by end of 2018. Ms Mayawati wanted to declare coalition by 1st January 2019, but Yadav on 14th after Malmas. Though as known Ms Mayawati not believe in these factors but probably coalition will be announced soon?
