It seems that PM Narendra Modi’s Lok Sabha region Varanasi won’t be able to host the meet up with the President of China Xi Jinping. Hence, any state of the Southern India might get a chance for this. As per sources, Jinping has raised his concerns for Varanasi as the runway there is very small and compact. Now, the government is looking for such options, which can serve as a potential place to showcase Indian culture and traditions, along with serving as a place for the meeting. The city must have the facility of airport. There are rumours that Mamallapuram might get an opportunity to be the venue. This is the second visit of Jinping to India for an informal discussion with PM Modi. First time, it happened for Doklam issue.
