Congress in-charge of eastern UP, Mrs. Gandhi seems very serious to rejuvenate party structure in UP to challenge BJP in 2022 state elections. To remain available to party workers 24x7, she is searching for a house at Lucknow. In 2019 the performance of Congress was very poor and before that state elections were also not remained favorable. Sources say Congress has now realized that unless party structure is strongly built in the most populous state it will not be possible to capture Delhi. In 2019 the then President of Congress also lost the traditional seat of Amethi to Mrs. Smriti Irani. Though Congress always shows the presence in Raibareli and Amethi but never a representative from the party thought to own or rent a house. The new move of think tanks of the party, sources say, started making a dent in voters, till now who were sitting at the fence. The result of 2022 will only show the effectiveness of all steps?
