Son of Late Devi Lal and younger brother of Om Prakash Chautala, Chaudhary Ranjeet Singh now a minister in Khattar govt, sources say played a key role in convincing Jyotiraditya to join BJP. Sources say Ranjeet Singh was having very good relations with Late Madhava Rao Scindia father of Jyotiraditya Scindia and after also maintained good relations with the son. Sources say two months back in a marriage Chaudhary and Scindia had a long discussion on the joining because Scindia was upset with the way he was being treated by Kamalnath even he was heard saying that posting of officers also not done according to his choice. Later said that Kamalnath and Digvijay Singh also coming in way to Rajya Sabha nomination. Sources say at that time Scindia requested him to hold the move. Recently Chaudhary drove straight to the house of Scindia and probably got the hint to take up his joining after a brief discussion.
