In the recent development in Maharashtra Power Corridors, it has been learned that Congress is not able to digest the recent appointment of Ajoy Mehta as Principal Advisor to CM. Mehta is considered to be close to Thackeray and his emergence as a key decision-maker and as a  power center in the power corridors despite his retirement and completing tenure as CS is creating ripples in the political arena. It is also be undrlined that Congress has questioned Mehta's Influene in making decisions several times. The dependence of Maharashtra CM on Mehta and keeping him close depsite retirement has made congress hard to digest Mehta's proxmity after already completing tenure in a signifincant capacity.
