Nitish Ji is running the government with the support of BJP, party leadership of BJP already announced to contest Bihar Vidhan Sabha under the leadership of Nitish Kumar but sources say, CM is well aware that winnability of BJP candidates is more in comparison to JD(U) and to counter number, wants to contest more seats. BJP understands the fact but as to adjust the party of Ram Vilas Paswan and also wants to win as many seats as can for the future. Sources say, BJP is ready to allow JD(U) to contest 107 seats, 38 to Ram Vilas Ji, and want to contest 98 seats. JD (U) not able to digest the allocation of 38 seats to Ram Vilas Paswan Ji. In 2019 election the ratio was 17:17:6, the party of Ram Vilas Ji won all the seats but Nitish ji could not do this and had to accept defeat at Kishanganj from Congress party, in 2010 state election BJP bagged 91seats out of contested 100 seats, whereas JD(U) managed only 116 seats out of 143 contested. Sources say, BJP is having CM in all states of Hindi belt except Bihar and wants to have its own, CM of Bihar, knowing it very well and taking steps very carefully?
