Sharad Yadav tried to manage a ticket for his daughter Ms. Subhasani Yadav but probably Lalu Yadav did not agree to his point and Yadav had to contact the Congress party for the ticket and Congress obliged under IOU. During Rajya Sabha elections two years back Ahmad Patel was contesting and Amit Shah was managing support for the BJP candidate but the two MLA’s of JD(U), though technically with JD (U) of Nitish Kumar but supported Patel on the advice of Sharad Yadav, who was not with Nitish Kumar even by remaining in the party. The last-minute support of two MLA’s to Patel the most interesting election got him re-elected. Sources say due to this IOU the Congress party supported Sharad Yadav but the fight is not very easy for Ms. Subhasani.
